Group Lessons
GROUP PIANO
Ages 4 & 5 The piano keyboard is explored and supplemented through movement, singing, rhythm, listening, writing activities.
Grades K-2 Students learn the keyboard topography, rhythm notation/recognition, songs by rote/pre-staff reading and introduction to staff notation.
Grades 3 & 4 Keyboard fundamentals, rhythm notation, staff notation, playing songs by ear and reading musical notation.
Adults This class uses a variety of musical styles to learn music reading skills. Concepts in how to play piano without reading music are also introduced and explored.
VOCAL: Semi-Private or Group (Grades 2-4, 5-7)
Vocal breathing, tone production, listening skills, basic theory and music reading are acquired and developed through an assortment of fun songs and exercises. The objective is to enjoy singing with ease and balance. Participation in group vocal class can be very beneficial in preparation for choral auditions.
